Overview of the Dataset Upload process on Mass Dynamics

The upload experience automatically recognizes pre-processed data from popular processing software, including MaxQuant , Spectronaut, DIA-NN and Bruker ProteoScape (TIMS-DIA-NN). You can learn more about what files to upload here.

 

Once you have identified snd prepared the required files, follow the steps below to upload your data on Mass Dynamics. 

  1. Login to app.massdynamics.com
  2. Create a new Workspace or access an existing one
  3. Go to the Dataset Upload page (see screenshot below)




  4. Choose "Choose Files" or "Choose Folder" depending on how your files are stored and upload the required files depending on the pre-processed data to be analysed 
  5. After choosing the relevant files to upload for your file system, click "Next"
  6. Mass Dynamics should now detect the data format or whether manual mapping of the data is required 

  7. You can now either create your own Experiment Design or you can upload your own populated template


  8. You can then directly populate or upload Sample Metadata to include extra information useful for downstream analyses



  9. Go ahead and enter your Experiment Name and Experiment Description



  10. Click "Create Experiment" and wait until your files upload
  11. Get started with analyzing your data!
