Removing the Agent Pack

If you used the Agent Pack, thank you for testing it. What you found is why this version is better: it is hosted, so there is nothing to install, and the error handling that used to leave you stuck now lives in the server.

If your old setup has stopped working, it is inert and you can leave it.

You only need to act if your AI tool starts offering you two sets of Mass Dynamics operations and picking the wrong one. That happens when both the old local server and the new hosted one are connected at the same time.

The quick fix is to switch the old connector off. That takes a second and is reversible. Only remove it properly if you want it gone for good.

Paste this into your AI tool. It only looks - it changes nothing.

Please audit my Mass Dynamics setup without changing anything. Look for any MCP server entries mentioning mass dynamics and whether each points at a local install or a hosted URL, any Mass Dynamics skills or plugins, and any config or .env file holding a Mass Dynamics API token. Tell me what you find and where each one lives. Don't remove or edit anything.

Three things were left on your machine. The first two are files. The third is not, and it is the one that matters.

1. Remove the connector in your AI tool

Connectors, plugins and skills are removed in your AI tool's own settings, not by the tool itself. Open its MCP or connector settings, remove the Mass Dynamics entry that points at a local path or command, and restart the tool. The audit above tells you which entries to look for.

2. Remove the installed files

If you used our installer there is an md-python folder in your home directory, and an entry in your Claude Desktop config file.

Deleting that folder is safe. It holds no data of yours - your datasets, analyses and results live in your Mass Dynamics account, not on your machine.

3. Revoke the old API token - do this one

The installer saved a Mass Dynamics API token to your machine.

Deleting the files does not revoke it. Until it is revoked it remains valid, and anyone with a copy of it can reach your Mass Dynamics account.

Sign in to Mass Dynamics, open your account settings, and revoke the token the Agent Pack created.

The hosted server does not work this way. It authenticates over OAuth with your normal Mass Dynamics login, so no key is created and nothing is stored on your machine.

A hosted MCP server, run by Mass Dynamics. You add a connector once in your AI tool and sign in with your normal login.
